We are in an era where great trust is placed in scientific postulates, a trust that does not exempt the possibility of a certain betrayal on the part of science or a certain chimerical desire on the part of man to see everything clarified, within its conceptual limits. The general objective of this article is to analyze how intercontinental culture has been seen in research in Human and Social Sciences. Specifically, the article aims to clarify the dichotomy between Human Sciences and Social Sciences; as well as introducing the approach culture as adjacent to the intercontinental culture in research in Human and Social Sciences. Methodologically, this article is an exploratory research in terms of the mirrored objectives, and in terms of procedures, it is a bibliographical research, resorting to studies already carried out by other thinkers, such as Adorno (2002), Martins (2002), Hall (2006). The intercontinental culture in research in Human and Social Sciences must be reinforced by a new cultural substrate, the culture of approximation, the meaning of the terms are the same as already known, its application in research will aim to remind researchers in Human and Social Sciences , that the center of his investigations is man, all other elements must be linked with him and with each other.
